First Holy Communion Programme 2025 Parents of children in school Year 3 and above are now invited to register their child(ren) for next year’s FRHC course. Registration Forms are available from Canon John after any Saturday evening/Sunday Mass. The course will begin on 29th March 2025 and will comprise 6 sessions to be held on Saturday afternoons at 4-5.30pm in the parish hall. Note that one parent or guardian will be required to attend each of the 6 sessions together with their child(ren). The First Communion Mass will be on Sunday 15th June at 11am.

First Reconciliation (also known as Confession) and First Holy Communion are the two sacraments which usually follow on from Baptism. The preparation course for both sacraments is for Baptised Catholic children in Year 3 or above at school. The First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion course runs each year with a series of weekly sessions, usually starting in February/March and ending in May/June. Regular notices are placed in the weekly parish newsletter informing parents when registration opens for the course.  Once your child is registered, it is important to attend course sessions regularly and faithfully.
